What to Wear

Team Suit and Cap Requirements

The Floyd County Swim Club does not require each swimmer to wear a team suit.  However, here are some guidelines.

* Girls MUST wear a one piece swim suit to all practices and meets.

* While not mandatory, boys are encouraged to wear either swimming briefs or jammers.  Casual wide leg swim trunks are not conducive for competitive swimming.

* Our team colors are navy blue, silver, and white.  If possible, choose a swim suit in team colors.

* Swim caps are highly encouraged and required for any swimmer with long hair.  Swimmers MAY NOT wear caps representing any other team at swim meets, including those of their respective club team.  FC Hurricanes swim caps are included with registration. If you want them personalized, there will be an opportunity for that.
