Cortney Johnson-President
Cortney has been a member of the Floyd County Hurricanes since 2018. Her daughter Aurora and her son Rhett are part of the Hurricane Family. Cortney coached the swim team at Hazelwood Middle School for years and loves the water. She is excited to bring her children into the world of swimming! Cortney and her family reside in Greenville.
Beth Decker- Treasurer
Is a long time Floyd County resident with a lifelong passion for swimming. She has many fond memories of swimming on a SISA team as a kid and now is enjoying watching her daughter swim for the Hurricanes. She is so excited to be able to lend her support to the team!
Jill Cline-Secretary
My name is Jill Davis Cline. I am currently a secretary at New Albany Floyd County Schools. I have worked in the school systems for over 30 years. I am a graduate from Indiana University with BS in Business. I am married to Jerry Cline with one daughter, and we reside in New Albany. I have been involved with the swim world for over 25 years in one way or another. My daughter has been on a swim team since 1995 and continues her love for swim through coaching. I loved to be involved with the community through involvement and volunteerism.
Missy Caple- Parent Liaison
As a long time swimmer, Missy is excited to support the Hurricanes. She and her husband, Ben, have been married for 15 years and have three daughters. Two of her daughters, Presley and Palmer, swim. Phoebe, the middle daughter, chooses to cheer on the Hurricanes - she is a thespian and dancer. Missy is looking forward to this new opportunity to continue to share the love of this sport with others across the community.
Nicole Smith- Parent Liaison/Social Media
Nicole has been involved in the swimming world for about 5 years. 3 of her 4 children swam on SISA teams. Her daughter Samantha and son Layne joined the Hurricanes last summer and daughter Larissa helped coach. She loves summer swim because it brings her children together with others they normally wouldn’t have built relationships with and fosters great sportsmanship for their school seasons when they support each other. She also enjoys volunteering with her daughter’s high school swim team. Nicole and her family live in Henryville, IN. Nicole Smith
