Kitty Cline - Head Coach/Board President

Kitty began swimming competitively at age four and has remained deeply connected to the sport ever since. The Floyd County Hurricanes serve as the home base that brings together her passion for swimming, teaching, and coaching — combining her work across lessons, club programs, and high school teams into one unified mission of developing confident, capable athletes.
She is a USA Swimming–certified coach with experience working with swimmers of all ages and abilities, from beginner lessons to competitive high school athletes. Each summer, she enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for the sport through the Hurricanes program, helping young swimmers build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of the water.
Outside of the pool, Kitty works as an athletics accountant at the University of Louisville. She also coaches with the New Albany Makos and the New Albany High School swim team, bringing those experiences back to strengthen the Hurricanes community.
